What is carrageenan?
1. Carrageenan, also known as carrageenan, antler alginate and Irish moss gum, is the calcium, potassium, sodium and ammonium salt of polysaccharide sulfate composed of galactose and dehydrated galactose. Due to the different forms of sulfate binding, it can be divided into kappa, iota and lambda.
